The organization that I have chosen is The Global Fund for Children http://www.globalfundforchildren.org (Newsletter: http://www.globalfundforchildren.org/index.php?option=com_civicrm&Itemid=340 ). The reason why I did pick this one is because I liked there overall mission for children compared to the others. This world by far is not what it used to be, with the crimes and just overall bad things that can happen in this world. Children are not being raised in the same type of an environment as kids 10-15 years ago. That’s what this foundation does is they help kids deal and how to interact in this type of new world. Overall they just try to help kids to just be kids and not worry about the big issues and problem that goes on in the world. The reason why this one caught my attention over the others is because I do see this as a big importance in our world. I remember when I was a kid and I would go play around my block area, or ride my bike for blocks and come back with no problem. I was the fact that I was able to be a child. Now it feels like parents can’t let their kids outside their own front lawn without being afraid that there kid going to be taken or that someone might come with a gun at school. Overall it’s just weird how things can change so quickly.
